There are two bridge groups, catering for a variety of levels.
Bridge – Beginners and Improvers is a single club and members of the Bridge – Beginners and Improvers may attend events at either venue.
We are a friendly group. No tuition. Come with or without a partner. This group meets at the Bourne Club.
Meets weekly on Thursday, 1.30 pm – 4 pm
This group is run in two streams: beginners, and bridge players who want to improve their game. Beginners can join at the start of each term, i.e. on 2 September, 6 January and 31 March and they will start with some mini bridge (playing) courses followed by a 4- session course covering the basics of bidding. Once completed beginners can continue playing and learning with support from experienced bridge players. For improvers we will run weekly sessions on bidding, partnership understanding, declarer play and defence. Wherever you are in your bridge journey we can help you.
Meets at the Maltings, Wednesday 13.30 pm – 15.30 pm.
